Amaryllis Santiago aka The Latin Phoenix ®™ is an International GRAMMY & LARAS Artist and former Governor of The Philadelphia Chapter Recording Academy.

Amaryllis is called The Latin Phoenix ®™ because she refuses to give up on her dream of sharing music. Through the good and the bad times, she always manages to rise above adversity through prayer and her strong faith in God.
She has been extremely blessed to have found her second passion in life. With her exciting move to the Illinois state, she is a proud teacher in the 6th grade elementary Dual Language Program.

She has recently invited A.O.P. (Accidently On Purpose) to join her in a collaborative NEW journey of sharing the musical stage with her at different functions.

Amaryllis aka The Latin Phoenix ®™ is best known in the music industry for her passion in music, connecting peers, and community. Her genres include Latin Fusion, Soul, Salsa, and a surprising mix of anything in between.

She has had the priviledge of working with notable International and National class acts. Adding to that she has collaborated with many GRAMMY Award, Stellar Awards, Emmy Award winning Producers and musicians.

She is comfortable performing for an intimate venue or large outdoor concerts.

The project, “Deeply Rooted,”
is set to be released in 2017.

This project has been a unique collaboration since 2013, with Raymond Fry. He is the Songwriter for Oracle Records, LTD and Lyricist & Head of A&R of Midas King Productions International, who utilizes the many talents of Songwriters, Composers, and Musicians from London UK, – Sweden – Russia – USA – Italy. Raymond Fry is aligned in a joint venture with Oracle Record Studio Owners- Giampaolo Pasquale and Michel Garruti based in London and Italy.

“No Me Doy Por Vencida,” reached #34 in The Tropical Latin Charts. (

She has released 3 albums and several singles and EPs, including “Sabor Latino” and “The Next Level.”

The journey hasn’t been easy, and Amaryllis doesn’t take life-lessons and this journey called life for granted, she’s extremely appreciative of the love and support.

Amaryllis was a Presenter and Co-Host in 2014 and 2015 for The Lehigh Valley Music Awards, at the SteelStacks® Campus in Bethlehem, Pa. She also was invited to be one of the Co-Hosts alongside of Rhona Bennet and Lexi Lewis at The 34th Annual Chicago Music Awards, which was held at the Historic Copernicus Theatre, Chicago in 2015.

She was nominated and received an award in the Best Latin/Best Brazilian Music Category from GHP Radio Show in 2014.

She also served as a Member with HACC-Central PA Community College Music Industry Advisory Board in 2014. (

She was on the Judging Panel for The Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs (GACLA) Talent Recognition Show in 2013.

Amaryllis was the “Honorary Chair” for the EUP 10th Anniversary Gala in 2013. Estamos Unidos originated as a Latino community-based group in the Harrisburg area in 2002. It began as a group of volunteers who helped Hispanic children in three main areas: Cultural Heritage, Educational Advancement and Mentoring Programs. (

Amaryllis’s company, “Syllirama Entertainment, LLC,” Produced and Promoted the legendary Jose Feliciano 2013 World Tour at The Forum, Harrisburg, PA. She performed as Jose Feliciano’s Special Guest and recieved a Governor’s Proclamation for her contribution to the music community.

“Me Gusta Tu Baile” Patti LaBelle Cover received Limelight Cover Song of The Year in 2010.

The CD, “No Me Doy Por Vencida” was submitted to The 14th Latin Grammy (r) 2013 “For Consideration,” in 3 different categories. The single, “No Me Doy Por Vencida” reached #34 in The Tropical Latin Charts. ( It was produced in collaboration with Erben Perez (Mark Anthony’s Bass Player for 20+ years), and Craig White who is a 30 year veteran of all phases of the entertainment industry. (His engineering credits include projects with Celine Dion, Kool and the Gang, Gerald Levert, Wendy O. Williams, and most of the Philadelphia International Records roster; Phyllis Hyman, Dexter Wansel, The O’Jays, and Lou Rawls.)

She released her Self-Published Book, “Poetry From Within” in 2010.

The “Sabor Latino” album was produced in collaboration with Aaron “El Kosherican” Levinson, Grammy Winner for Salsa Album of the Year 2005. Edy Martinez, also a Grammy nominee, arranged and played piano on her song. (As musical director he’s accompanied icons Ray Barreto, Gato Barbieri, Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaría and Dizzy Gillespie. As a pianist, he has played with many legends of the salsa and Latin jazz world including Rubén Blades, Jerry Gonzalez, Celia Cruz, Alfredito de la Fé, Paquito de Rivera and others.)

The “Next Level” CD was her first original studio recording and received a Special Mention at Marché International du Disque et de l’Edition Musicale (MIDEM), the Cannes, France music trade fair. Amaryllis is the First Jazz Latina to have 2 songs in the Top 10 of MIDEM’s Preview Magazine in 2008. (#6 – Simply Me and #10 – VFW)

Throughout her journey, she has been blessed to collaborate with some of the industry’s best musician in the Latin and English music industry.
